The castle, garden and park are maintained by the association KULTUR- Landschaft Haldensleben-Hundisburg e.V. via the Management of the castle of Hundisburg.

The castle, garden and park are property of the town of Haldensleben and the outside areas are publically accessible.

The association KULTUR-Landschaft Haldensleben - Hundisburg e.V. is authorised by the town with the management of the complex. Other occupants of the castle are further the forest administration of the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt with the Haus des Waldes and the association supporting the technical monument brickyard Hundisburg. The rooms of the castle are, depending on their current use, accessible during cultural events as well as tours.
